About the event

Opening Ceremony

Join the Mayor of Cedar Hills, the City Council and others as we have a brief opening ceremony complete with a flag ceremony and music to kick-off the Cedar Hills City Day of Service. Service opportunities will begin immediately following the opening ceremony.

9am, LDS Church Building at 3950 W Cedar Hills Drive, Cedar Hills, UT 84062

Project

Needs 5-8 volunteers. Team captain will have map of assigned hydrants, paint brushes, and trash bags/paint provided by City. Volunteers will provide leaf blower, brooms, dust pan or shovel, wire brush, and personal protective clothing and masks if desired. Team will sweep and brush the surfaces to be painted, blow off the area with a leaf blower, lay down drop cloth/masking cardboard, and paint the hydrant and curb over old paint. There are specialized paints for each. Please follow team-captain instructions. Clean up area and carry away trash.
